Each year the RRCA hosts two auction opportunities for convention attendees to show their support for the RRCA while picking up items of value to running enthusiats, club leaders, and event organizers. The Live Auction is designed to raise funds for the RRCA Roads Scholars Fund. The auction will begin at 6:15 PM on Saturday during the National Running Awards Ceremony Reception in advance of the banquet. the Live Auction, hosted by former RRCA President Jeff Darman, provides a fun way to help raise funds for RRCA programs. The Silent Auction is designed to raise fund for the RRCA State Reps program. The Silent Auction will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday and will conclude at 7:15 PM when the National Running Awards Banquet and Ceremony begins. Each year, proceeds from the Silent Auction at the RRCA National Convention support the volunteer efforts of our State Representatives. As ambassadors for your state, RRCA State Reps donate their time to organize and attend local RRCA club meetings and events, publicize events through e-newsletters, and keep RRCA clubs in your state informed about RRCA news. State Reps also attend the RRCA National Convention in order to bring back valuable information to running clubs and events in their state. We are actively seeking sought after items of value for the auctions. To donate an item for the auction, please complete our online form. Please bring the donated item(s) to the convention. If you cannot attend the convention but would like to donate items, please email conventionhost@rrca.org to make arrangements to ship your donated auction item(s).
